How can I dye my hair black without real hair dye?
I want to dye my hair black for Halloween. I don’t care if it’s black for a few days afterwards, but I don’t want something permanent. Is there any way to dye it black using stuff I might have around the house, or could buy at a grocery store? I don’t want to buy real hair dye. Thanks!
I ended up using shoe polish, and it worked really well!
you can try several things:
the spray hair color which is virtually sold everywhere around halloween
semi permanent dye (which stains your hair so it takes a while to grow out
also the above two will “stick” if your hair is already chemically treated (dyed, permed, relaxed, whatever)
you can also try the colored mouse (for hair, sold at salons and beauty supplies) or even shoe polish. that should do the trick and really wash out after one or two washes
